James is a multi-award winning freelance director & DOP, working across a range of commercials and documentaries. Combining striking visuals with emotionally sensitive narrative, he aims to inspire and captivate his audiences.

In establishing strong working relationships with all of his clients, he has worked world wide with brands including, General Electric, Adobe, H&M, Converse, Belstaff, Uniqlo, Bottega, Frame and Square.

His films have been awarded two Royal Television Society awards and the ‘Best UK Short’ at Open City Doc Fest and a place in the BFI National Archive.
